International Number has been shortened to iNet, and it’s an international phone number that can be used wherever people move in the world, eliminating the need to change this important contact information. The International Telecommunications Union introduced a global dialling code +883 which makes it possible to change to a less limiting way for service providers to allocate phone numbers.

iNum is only able to deal with voice communications at the moment but more facilities are being developed, and the service is being added to a growing number of networks according to the website. The aim is that eventually iNums will be reachable from any network internationally like any other phone number and we’ll be able to keep the same phone number all of our lives no matter where we move.
