Workers in these 10 cities suffer the longest commutes in the U.S.
Here’s another reason to love being part of a garage startup: you get to avoid the misery the that rest of the country experiences every day during rush hour. Take New York City for example, where the influx of commuters causes Manhattan’s population to nearly double — from 1.6 million to 3.1 million during the day, according to the New York Times. What’s worse is that almost a third of those workers are in transit for at least an hour every morning.
